Summer Dog Wash Shout Out!
We'd like to extend a huge thank you to the staff of Jimminy Clippers at 1850 N Rand Rd, in Palatine for donating their services for the Dog Wash from 11 - 4 on Sunday, July 11th. The fabulous team Jimminy Clippers worked non-stop to wash, dry and beautify both Goldens and non-Goldens alike, and donated all of the proceeds to As Good as Gold.
Additional thanks go to Dance Party DJ's for making it a festive occasion and drawing in folks from the street with the great music. To all who came out to support our rescue, volunteered to help and brought dogs to be washed - you had a part in the $2500.00 we raised!! This goes a long way to help with the medical needs of our Goldens. Thank you so much!
